Task Force Lightning Soldier killed

Tikrit, Iraq – A Multi-National Division-North Soldier assigned to the 3rd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division from Fort Bragg, N.C., died Friday, Oct. 6, as a result of enemy action while conducting operations near the city of Bayji.

The name of the Soldier is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
