Civilian killed in shooting incident

Multi-National Division – North PAO

CONTINGENCY OPERATING BASE SPEICHER, TIKRIT, Iraq – A civilian contractor died of wounds suffered in a shooting at COB Speicher today at approximately 8:30 a.m.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.

The incident is currently under investigation.
