Criminals kill three Iraqi citizens in indiscriminate attacks (Baghdad)

Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO

BAGHDAD – In separate events April 29, criminals launched rocket attacks killing three Iraqi citizens and wounded another.

At approximately 2 p.m. criminals fired a 107 mm rocket that landed in eastern Baghdad and killed two Iraqi citizens, destroyed four civilian vehicles, and damaged surrounding shops.

At approximately 4:15 p.m. criminals fired three 107 mm rockets into eastern Baghdad, one of which struck a local Iraqi home, injuring an Iraqi citizen.

The civilian was taken to a local hospital by Iraqi army soldiers.

At approximately 4:30 p.m. criminals fired one 122 mm rocket into central Baghdad that killed one Iraqi citizen.

“This is further indication we are fighting against an enemy with little regard to the misery and suffering caused by their attacks,” said Lt. Col. Steve Stover, Multi-National Division – Baghdad and 4th Infantry Division spokesman.
