MND-B Soldier killed during combat operations
Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO


BAGHDAD — A Multi-National Division - Baghdad Soldier was killed during combat operations in a southern section of Baghdad June 10. One other Soldier was also wounded.
    
Elements of this unit continue to work together with their Iraqi Security Force counterparts conducting clearing operations in this area in an effort to find and remove active insurgent and militia forces, providing a more secure and safe living environment for the Iraqi people.
    
The deceased Soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
