Provincial Leaders and Coalition Forces Attacked in Diyala Province

Multi-National Division – North PAO
BAQOUBA, Iraq – Senior Iraqi Provincial Leaders and Coalition Forces in Diyala were attacked by a suicide vest bomber in the vicinity of Shifta during a breaking of the fast feast Sept. 24.
 Some of the injured Iraqis were taken to CF medical facilities and others were taken to Baqouba Hospital. 
 There are an unknown number of casualties and the incident remains under investigation.
