Roadside bomb strikes MND-B convoy
Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO

BAGHDAD –
A Multi-National Division - Baghdad Soldier died when an improvised explosive device detonated on a patrol in a northwest section of the Iraqi capital Jan. 18.  

The patrol was conducting a convoy escort mission when the roadside bomb detonated, killing one Soldier and wounding three others.  

In the past week, members of the unit conducted numerous convoy escort missions in support of division operations, escorting troops and materials throughout Baghdad.
The deceased Soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
