Update to Iraqi National Police officer arrest
Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO

CAMP LIBERTY, Iraq — In a recent press release, Coalition Forces announced that an Iraqi National Police officer was linked to criminal activity and characterized his links to militia organizations.

The suspect allegedly had a past association with Badr, although it is not clear that he maintains the relationship now. 

This statement is a clarification that there was no intention to implicate that Badr, or its leaders were involved in this situation.
