Welcome ceremony for Operation Proper Exit

WHAT: There will be a welcome ceremony for Operation Proper Exit on Monday, 25 April, at 2 p.m. This will kick off the 9th and final Operation Proper Exit sponsored by the Troops First Foundation. Operation Proper Exit is a therapeutic program that brings injured Soldiers seeking a sense of closure, back to the place they were injured.You can learn more about Proper Exit by going to the Troops First Foundation's website at http://www.troopsfirstfoundation.org/.

YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS TO ECP 14 GATE. TRANSPORTATION WILL BE ARRANGED TO MOVE YOU TO THE EVENT AND BACK TO THE GATE ONCE THE EVENT IS COMPLETE. ANTICIPATE RETURN TO ECP 14 GATE NO LATER THAN 3 P.M.

WE MUST RECEIVE YOUR RSVP FOR THIS EVENT BY SUNDAY, 12 P.M., APRIL 24, 2011, SO WE CAN SEND YOUR NAME TO ECP 14 FOR ACCESS TO THE EVENT.

WHERE: Al Faw Palace Rotunda

WHEN: Monday, April 25, 2011. Please be cleared through ECP 14 gate at VBC no later than 1300 p.m. Media escorts will pick up all media at the ECP 14 gate and transport media to the event. Late arrivals will not be admitted. You must make coordination to ensure you are cleared through the gate by 1 p.m.

NOTE: Please provide the following required information in order for us to consolidate a list and provide to ECP 14. All personnel attending must have a valid CPIC badge.

Journalist: Full name, agency, CPIC badge number and expiration date

Security: Full name, date of birth, USF-I badge number and badge color

Equipment: All recording and electronic equipment to be used.
